Six Stages Of Website Development
In general, website development can be broken down into the following stages:
The Planning stage identifies what you want to accomplish with your website. The Content Management stage identifies who will contribute content and how it will get into the website. The Design stage identifies the look and feel of the finished product. The Programming stage identifies how Content and Design are combined into web pages. The Marketing And Promotion stage identifies how your website attracts visitors. Finally, the Maintenance stage identifies how content is updated or removed. All of the stages should be part of a feedback loop to the overall business plan of the website owner. Click HERE for a pictorial representation of the feedback mechanism.
